End of partnership with Checkatrade
Last year, we notified Kent tradespeople that the Trading Standards partnership with Checkatrade would end in March 2021 and that we launched our own Trading Standards Checked scheme in early 2020. We continued to work with Checkatrade until all memberships had completed on 31 March this year, and now Trading Standards Checked is the only place to find trader that’s checked and vetted by Kent County Council Trading Standards.
The Trading Standards Approved logo is no longer valid and traders displaying it are breaking the law.
Should you see any of the above logos displayed, please report to Citizen’s Advice Consumer Services via the website or by calling 0808 223 1133.
